Who this policy covers
This website, shantanutyagi.com, is the personal portfolio of Shantanu Tyagi, a digital marketing professional based in India. I am the data controller for any personal information collected here. You can reach me at shantanutyagi555@gmail.com or +91-8383-051713 with any question about this policy.
What information I collect
Contact form. When you use the contact form I collect your name, email address and message. The page address you sent the message from is also recorded so I can see which page your enquiry relates to. An optional "company website" field exists solely as an anti-spam check — it is hidden from real visitors and is not used to profile you.
Usage data. Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand which pages are visited and how people move through the site. This may include pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and how long you stay. This data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.
Direct contact. If you email me, call me or connect on LinkedIn, I will process what you share in that conversation for the purpose of replying.
How your information is used
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss potential work together.
- To understand how the site is used and improve its content and performance.
- To keep the contact form free of spam and automated abuse.
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and I do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who your information is shared with
Your data is only shared with the service providers needed to run this site:
- Google Analytics 4 & Google Tag Manager — anonymous website usage analytics.
- Gmail (Google) — contact form submissions are delivered to my email inbox so I can reply to you.
- Make.com — a copy of each contact form submission is relayed to my automation workflow (name, email, message, optional company website, page URL) so enquiries are routed and followed up reliably.
- LinkedIn — if you click my LinkedIn link, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies from that point.
These providers process data on my behalf under their own privacy terms. I may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (such as _ga) to measure site usage anonymously. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site will continue to work fully without them.
How long I keep your data
Contact form messages and related emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any work that follows from it. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted.
How your data is protected
The site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. Access to form submissions, email and analytics is limited to me and protected by Google account security including two-factor authentication.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data I hold about you and receive a copy.
- Ask me to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask me to delete your data.
- Withdraw consent or object to processing.

Children
This site is a professional portfolio and is not directed at children under 18. I do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
